What chemical wash actually does
Normal AC service cleans what's accessible from the outside — filter, visible coil face, drain line. It doesn't reach the fouling that builds up inside the coil fins after 12–24 months of operation. That deeper fouling is what reduces cooling capacity, increases energy use, and produces the musty smell that air freshener can't mask.
Chemical wash strips that out. We dismantle the indoor unit, soak the coils in a coil-safe chemical solution that dissolves the fouling, high-pressure rinse it all out, treat the drain pan with biocide to prevent mould regrowth, deodorise, and reassemble.

Our process
Six steps. Same for every chemical wash.
Power down and dismantle
We remove the indoor unit cover, blower wheel, and where required the full indoor unit from the wall (carefully, with sheet protection on your wall and floor).
Chemical soak
Coil-safe solution applied via low-pressure sprayer, left to dwell for 10–15 minutes.
High-pressure rinse
Proper rinse, multiple passes until water runs clear.
Drain pan treatment
Biocide applied, drain line flushed with treatment to prevent algae regrowth.
Deodorise
Final spray with a coil-safe deodoriser.
Reassemble and commission
Run through cooling/fan modes, verify drain flow and temperature differential.

What we don't do
Three shortcuts you may have been quoted elsewhere.
No garden-water rinse
We don't pressure-wash coils with garden water (the standard shortcut in this market). It's faster, looks similar from the outside, and ruins coils faster.
No solvent-based cleaners
We don't use solvent-based cleaners that strip the aluminium fin coating.
No skipping the drain pan
We don't skip the drain pan treatment.
