Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Fastlink Fix website (fastlinkfix.com) and the services we provide. By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to these Terms.
1. Services
Fastlink Fix provides aircond, plumbing, electrical, handyman, and related home and commercial maintenance services in Kuala Lumpur and Selangor. Specific service scope, deliverables, and limitations are described on the relevant service pages.
2. Quotations and pricing
- Quotations issued by WhatsApp, email, or in writing are valid for 14 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated
- Pricing on our website is current at time of publication and subject to change without notice
- Final price is the price stated in your written quotation, not the website indicative range
- Where on-site inspection reveals materially different scope from what was quoted remotely, we stop work and re-quote before proceeding
- All prices include 8% Sales and Service Tax (SST) unless otherwise stated. We issue tax invoices on request
3. Payment terms
- Service work: payment due on completion unless otherwise agreed in writing
- Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC): payment in advance per agreed schedule (annual, quarterly, or monthly per tier)
- Accepted payment methods: bank transfer (IBG/FPX/DuitNow), credit/debit card, e-wallet (Touch 'n Go, GrabPay)
- Late payment: 1.5% per month on overdue invoices, calculated from the due date
4. Cancellation and rescheduling
- Service appointments may be rescheduled with 24 hours' notice at no charge
- Cancellation within 24 hours of scheduled appointment: RM 80 administrative fee
- AMC cancellation: 30 days written notice. We pro-rata services consumed and refund the balance
5. Warranty
- Installation workmanship: 12 months from completion
- Repair workmanship: 30 days from completion
- Parts: manufacturer warranty as supplied (typically 6–24 months for OEM, 12+ months for major components)
- Warranty excludes damage from misuse, third-party work, force majeure, or normal wear and tear
- Warranty claims: notify us within the warranty period; we attend, diagnose, and remedy at no charge if warranty applies
6. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law:
- Our total liability under any service is limited to the amount paid for that service
- We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special losses (loss of income, loss of business, loss of data)
- We are not liable for pre-existing defects in your property uncovered or affected by our work, except where caused by our negligence
- Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud
7. Customer obligations
You agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the property, equipment, and service required
- Provide safe and reasonable access to the work area
- Disclose known defects, hazards, or building restrictions (JMB rules, hazardous materials)
- Pay invoices in accordance with these Terms
- Not request work that requires licences or certifications we do not hold
8. Subcontractors
We may engage licensed subcontractors for specialist work (e.g. pest control). Subcontractor work is delivered under our quality standards and warranty.
9. Intellectual property
All content on fastlinkfix.com (text, images, designs, logos) is owned by or licensed to Fastlink Fix. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use this content without our written permission, except for personal, non-commercial reference.
10. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for delays or non-performance caused by events beyond reasonable control: natural disasters, government action, civil disturbance, pandemics, infrastructure failures affecting access.
11. Dispute resolution
- We endeavour to resolve disputes through direct discussion
- Unresolved disputes are referred to the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (TCC) or the courts of Malaysia
- These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. The courts of Malaysia have exclusive jurisdiction
12. Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. The effective date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be notified to AMC clients in writing.
