What we do
Five water heater scopes, with published pricing on each.
Install storage water heater
RM 280–480 (replacement of existing). Add RM 100–200 if electrical point upgrade needed. Add RM 100–250 for new bracket and plumbing tap-in if first-time install.
Install instant water heater
RM 150–220. Includes plumbing tap-in and termination on existing dedicated power point.
Repair (thermostat, heating element)
RM 150–300 labour + parts RM 80–350. Common faults: element failure (no hot water), thermostat failure (over-temp or no heating), tank leak (replacement only).
Service / descale
RM 120–180. Recommended every 18 months on storage heaters. Removes scale build-up that reduces element efficiency and tank life.

Repair vs replace
Storage heater over 8 years old with element + thermostat failure: replacement usually wins (new heater RM 800–1,800 supplied + RM 280–480 install vs RM 400–600 in repairs on a unit nearing end of life).
Tank leak (visible from outside): replacement only. Internal tank corrosion is not repairable.
Heating element only on a 3-year-old unit: repair (RM 230–500 total) is the right call.

Site check
Verify electrical capacity, water pressure, mounting location.
Decommission old unit
If replacement — drain, disconnect, remove.
Install bracket and unit
Wall fixings appropriate for tank weight (storage units are heavy when full — typically 30L = 30kg + unit weight).
Plumbing connections
Proper isolation valves, pressure relief valve, expansion vessel where required.
Electrical termination
ELCB-protected circuit, properly rated.
Commission and test
Pressurise, heat cycle, check for leaks at all joints.

Storage (tank) heater is better if you have multiple bathrooms needing hot water at the same time, or for kitchen use. Instant heater is better for single-bathroom apartments and lower upfront cost. We size to your usage pattern, not the cheapest answer.
